Blog

This is where I will post musings about knitting, (and maybe baking), things I am working on, and my newest published patterns.

Gearing Up

Well, it has been a while since I blogged about anything, and this is my first blog on my new site (YAY!)

A quick recap of the last year or so would probably include:

1) My Pattern Tristan which was published in The Knitter Magazine issue 49

This one was a joy to knit; completely seamless, integrated button bands and i-cord all around.

2) My trip to Rhinebeck! Where I met up with the one and only Brewergnome!

Here are a few pics from that trip, it was AMAZING!!

Here is the one and only Yarn Harlot holding my socks at the Holiday Yarns booth at Rhinebeck!!!

After all the fun of Rhinebeck, we went on a yarn crawl to WEBS, Harrisville Designs, and Jagger Brothers Yarn (jaggerspun yarns)

This is the wonderful Harrisville Mill Pond.  That town is seriously Beautiful!

and here is the intrepid Brewergnome himself at the Mill Race at Harrisville

3) My pattern Breckon which was also published in the Knitter issue 52

This is quickly becoming my favorite basic sweater pattern.  I have made it 4 or 5 times now, in different weight yarns;
sometimes with stripes, sometimes without.  It is a seamless set in sleeve, and it is as easy as a raglan, but soooo much nicer looking!

So that is what I have been up to for the past few months.

I will have 2 new patterns coming out in April - so be on the lookout for those!  I will be sure to let everyone know when that happens.
